BSNL Launches MITHRAM Prepaid Plan

BSNL has launched a new prepaid plan named “MITHRAM” for prospective subscribers in Kerala circle. This new plan enables subscribers to make calls to 5 local numbers at 10p/min for BSNL numbers and 30p for any other network number under Friend & Family (F&F) scheme.

Customers can obtain activated SIM and FRC of “MITHRAM” plan for Rs. 53 from BSNL Kerala CSC. The plan comes with freebies like talk Value of Rs. 50 and 2000 free Local and National SMS with a validity of 6 months. SMS charges beyond free SMS limit will be 50p for Local, 60p for National and Rs 5 for International SMS.SMS. Call charges for calls other then F&F scheme will be as per General PPS plan at 1p/sec to BSNL network and 1.2p/sec to other networks within the country. Customers are allowed to use all STVs except STV 45&STV 49.

The BSNL “MITHRAM” plan is available till 18th June 2011.

    the officials in the customer service centres are not well studied about this plan and they make confusion to the customers if something about the plan is asked to them

    Mithra plan is really good and affordable to the layman ! but some doubt exist about its validity ” nobody clearly say about it ……..every one trying to jump to the plan ,with out a clear thinking.

    1) validity may reduced to 30 days (only validity increase recharge for 55 minimum for 1 month ) OTHER WISE WT IS HAPPEN they never say.

    2)only incoming users are not a benefiter to the plan.

    3)off-net & on-net –not for sec pulse but for minute pack (that means not benefit for short calls)

    If the validity calculation for cumulative the plan is good otherwise a big trap from the concern.

    BSNL has really amazing net work with huge customer. The sad thing is the customer care is too poor compared to other net works. It is my personnel experience that no one is taking phone (in Muvattupuzha Exchange) even the official standing nearby. (the ringing sound they kept very low.) Plan are good , company is great but customers are disappointed because of poor response from respective officials.

    BSNL MITRAM Consists of some hidden things ie, if we migrate from SARAL prepaid plan to Mitram, validity will be redueced to one month from 2 years

    In April 13 I purchased a Sim of Mithram for Rs.73/-. I have not yet used. Main bal shows Rs.O. Free call shows 36 Min. I am unable to contact the Customer service Nos etc to explain my problems. My No is 9446942655. Whenever i try it shows no network. Pl look into the matter and inform me about the details of mithram plan, viz.Getting GPRS, Internet, Rates, Free smss, free calls offered initially with the sim etc.Kindly educate the purchaser about the plan by giving a leaflet etc. Thanks.Awaiting reply on priority to recharge the sim.
