Aircel offering Free Facebook Access Via 0.facebook.com

India’s fastest growing pan-india mobile service operator Aircel, has announced free access to Facebook via 0.facebook.com for its GSM customers. According to Aircel the offer will be available in 13 telecom circles namely, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, UP (E) & (W) and Madhya Pradesh. 0.facebook.com is the lighter version of m.facebook.com and has been optimized for faster loading. The site is mostly text based and won’t include any graphics or pictures. To view photos users needs click on the link of the photo and they will be prompted that they are leaving 0.facebook.com. Standard data charges will apply when a user leaves 0.facebook.com to view photos.

    just go to http://0.facebook.com instead of facebook.com or m.facebook.com from your mobile phone.

    i hope aircel will not disspoint us like reliance who now charges users for using 0.facebook. I will switch to aircel tomorrow itself ;)
